About the Role
As an Animal Health Advisor, you will play a critical role in analysing scientific data, interpreting diagnostic results, and providing technical support to our valued customers.
You'll spend a lot of time talking to our customers in all sorts of situations so you must be confident, resilient and outgoing.
You'll be able to listen to our customers and put together a course of action that best fits their scenario.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct analysis and reporting of Animal Health products, including bulk milk testing and other lab tests, particularly during peak demand periods. Provide technical support for Animal Health products, collaborating closely with Case Managers and the Animal Health Analyst. Develop a comprehensive understanding of relevant diseases and their control measures to accurately interpret lab test results. Assist in the implementation of new Animal Health products and systems. Support the Veterinary Product Advisor in vet liaison, training, and CRM support initiatives. Foster a positive team environment within Diagnostics, championing our LIC values About You
To thrive in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - we deal with farmers, vets, and a wide range of LIC staff.
We spend a lot of time talking to our customers and require someone who can understand and be sympathetic to the different situations our customers are in.
A science degree (or relevant experience), in biology, animal science or biochemistry.
Alternatively, a background in farming or strong knowledge of the dairy industry would also be considered. Excellent problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to work logically with attention to detail. Previous experience in customer or support roles g.
call centre / case manager work would be advantageous. Show initiative with the ability to work independently (both working from home and on site) and be a self-starter. Practical diagnostic laboratory work experience would be desirable. In Return
